I'm going to show you the basics of the herblore skill.
First you have to know it is a SLOW, but very useful skill!
1/ The required items
To start off, you need herbs, and of course, secondary ingredients.
You can get those either from monster drops, but the easiest way to get them fast is the thieving stall (spice stall) at Skilling Island.
You can go there by rubbing your combat bracelet (for sale in Canafis stores)
This requires 65 thieving, but it's really worth it!
You will also need water filled vials, which are also bought at Skilling Island.
2/ The potions
These are the potions that are added at the moment (you can make those). Here are the needed levels, the herbs & the secondaries in a row.
* attack potion (lvl 3)
* antipoison potion (lvl 5)
* strength potion (lvl 12)
* restore potion (lvl 22)
* prayer potion (lvl 38)
* super attack potion (lvl 45)
* super strength potion (lvl 55)
* super defence potion (lvl 66)
* ranging potion (lvl 72)
* zamorak brew (lvl 78)
* saradomin brew (lvl 81) NOTE: you can't crush bird nests, but it's unnecessary
3/ A few helpful hints
* If you are planning on buying herbs (about 200k each, depending on seller & buyer), make sure to buy them grimy. Cleaning is also a little experience!
* When you reach the levels required for super attack & super strength, you shouldn't waste eyes of newt and limpwurt roots on normal att & str potions. Then just make guam (unf) and tarromin (unf), which also gives exp!
* If you get bored with herbloring, just go PK a bit with your new-made potions, then return to herblore :-)
I hope this guide helps you out on your way of becoming a Herblore Master (which I am not, not even close!)
