Very Very Disappointed

Man... I don't understand... all you people asked me to bring back the server. Begging me for months to bring this back and then I see this on a weekend...



Like I don't understand. Don't tell me its because no one sees there e-mail. Thats bull shit. Why is that bull shit? There is about 20k emails I sent out including the old boards. Second of all, There was a topic that had over 100 replies in it(if i excluded posts by more than one person then I'd say about 50 different people posted).

I'm having drawbacks of putting the server back up. "I" CAN'T Start from 1 player. That will just take months to even get 20 players a day with the amount of competition there is. You asked for the server back so give it fuckn support. I'll give it a few more weeks and see what happens.

i was on everyday sol but i think i have an answer on that. I have gotten feedback from a few players and what they want , but beeing able to ::master and ::item anything you want means that there is no need to stay logged in and thats why most people dont stay online , i think we need to get back on leveling wich means from 1-99 and get all the drops and items by ourselves , that way everyone is motivated to keep playing and people will play a long time , and as players see other people online they will also play. 2nd , we have to get players from the outside , wich means we need to advertise and i am more than sure that we will get 20 players online average each day if we go to the old system. Tell me if i'm wrong

We can only ::master and ::item as it's beta and there will be a reset on full release. it's mainly bug testing atm until its pretty much bug free and we have a solid player base to start off with.

Like I said this is just a beta stage. It's not the official release.

Sol, if i get Sezer right he means that ppl dont like playing a server that is a "spawn server", they know its a Beta, so i bet most of the players wait untill the beta is over and u release the official one. They all wanna play a server without ::master and ::item, they know its a Beta, and why its atm a Spawn Sever, but Sol im sure there will be ALOT of ppl online when the official server get released Dont worry

I would have been on but I have been busy and mainly want to wait for full release. I'll play whenever the Beta is open again. I can only play on weekends though.

No that has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of people playing. Why??? Because people want to just play this server in general. But for the fact there is 0 players online is depressing. Its the fact no one wants to play this server is simple as that or people don't even wanna do anything with runescape related. Maybe it is time to just move on and forget about this server. Once dead needs to stay dead.

This type of situation is understandable and I'm not trying to enforce people to play the server but under my point of view having "0" players online means that I wasted my time(about 2 months) for nothing working on this server for "0" players.

Im pretty much online everyday for 30minutes orso, this whole game atm is pointless as this is a beta and there is nothing really to achieve as you can spawn whatever you like, so bossing has no point imo. Cant expect people to play this actively if there is noting to achieve
Im pretty sure alot of people came online to check out the server but left as soon as they noticed the only thing really to do is pking + the server is pretty laggy.

So i know many ppl are waiting for the official server. They want to play the official server, not a spawn server so Sol, the work you are doing is awesome, and i KNOW alot them waiting for you to finish that before starting playing. If i talk for my self, i have much schoolwork to do since im last year at school, so i do that instead of playing on a spawn server where all u can do is pk. I consentrate on school, but when the official server is coming out, im gonna play it every day! and i think im not alone to have that thought, to wait for the official server to come out!

Sol you will see once the server goes full online that u will never see a "0" player count ever again , thanks for covering my comment dirty but that's all im saying actually , just the reason that its beta and everything is spawnable en ::master and so on wont keep people logged in more then 30 mins , so spread that 30 mins per player then its normal. If someone logs in and sees 0 people he will automaticly log out , while if a player sees 2 people online he will stay , if the full server is online there should always be people online wich keeps other people playing , we just have to get people IN at the full release and after that its just cake

Yea, true that Sezer is saying, since the beta is a spawn server and all you can do is pk, and when u log in and see its 0 players online, you just log out again.. This is why its often 0 players on, since the most of them log out when they see 0 players online.. so if all do that, its only matther of luck to be 1 or more online when u log in... Wait for the official, i KNOW u never gonna see 0 players online again

Do agree, I've been quite busy with school and sports but I mean spawning stuff is only fun for a little bit like I've already done a lot of bosses or at least attempted (nex kicks my ass every time) and tried them all out and they're fun but it's not the same when I already have everything, me personally I am skiller and pvm more then a pker so as such for me and many more people when the game comes to it's full stages as dirty already said there will be a lot more people on by a huge amount then there is now.

I have exams and won't be done until this friday. I think that the reason people are not playing as much is because there is no motivation to play on the beta server. It's fun testing out the new additions to the servers and all, but only for awhile. They are given spawn rights which kills the purpose of pvming and pking. In my opinion pking is only fun when you are risking stuff you worked to get, which adds the excitement to pking and obviously the loots. There are pretty much no point for skillers to play either. The release of the official server should be different from the results you're seeing now.

So you all are implying that if i released the server tomorrow we wont see 0 players online??? And if there is still 0 players online then what??

Well i mean the server just got released but all the veterans will be on I mean we all know there is peak times of the day anyway and downtimes, like in the evenings it will be a lot more active then the morning, but yet again once we get the server on runelocus and get people coming and voting and getting our name out the flow of population will greatly change. I mean everything starts out slow but once it gets picked up it's there.

I know I would be playing a lot longer than I do daily now so there would be at least 1 player on haha.


Also its fair to note I've noticed a lot of us are college students and this is midterm time in the semester. I know I've had 4 exams in the past week and a half

i Know when the official server is done, alot more gonna play more often, and when we get the voting up, we get more players! Keep up the good work Sol!

Sol , wait for this weekend , release it then , but still adjust it while its online and working , but first make it playable for pvpers and skillers , i am waiting every single moment for you to come online everyday so we can adjust everything that a player needs , i log in 10 times a day for 10 mins waiting for you to be on , i want to make the server playable and ready to launch but i cant do any coding i really wish i could i only know what players desire , and i know that when everything is done and every desire has been furfilled , AFTER that you should tell everyone to promote including yourself for 1 day and attract as many players as we can , the veterans alone in our community are over 30+ players i think , imagine them playing again when server is fully working plusssss players from the outsides , we will get a stable player base but with time , i WANT to put effort on this server just tell me what to do

I think the main issue is that nobody goes on at the same time. I'm sitting there logged in just myself idk what to do lol there isn't anyone to chat with PVM with etc. And if you just added in levelling etc I think more people would play and be online, which when people log in and see 4 people instead of 0 they'll stay.

Ya, ill come back i just wont be playing atm, until spawning is gone.. id want to progress n boss n start getting items..

Hey, just saw the email invite. Unfortunately, I've kind of moved on with my life from Runescape enough now to stop playing entirely, but I will be checking in from time to time, and I wish you the best of luck on going it again Sol.
